Cheap Skin Bleaching Creams, Soaps, Gels, and Pills
Posted by: angelinarichards on: April 20, 2010
Skin lightening products are used for a variety of reasons including targeting specific areas of the skin such as a birthmark, mole, freckle, or hyperpigmented area of the skin. Some consumers also like to use skin bleaching products on a large amount of their body.
When searching online for a skin bleaching treatment, consumers are often bombarded by a wide array of skin lightening products including creams, soaps, gels, and pills. However, it is important to note that many of these products, if not most of them, are either ineffective or unsafe. For example, many of the skin bleaching creams sold online as well as in retail stores contain Hydroquinone which has been banned throughout the world. Using this ingredient on a large portion of the body can actually result in the skin becoming darker in addition to causing other potentially serious health problems such as the development of cancer.
Some of these other “cheap” products contain ingredients like Papaya. While using this ingredient can help moisturize the skin and leave it brighter, it is much less effective than using skin lightening ingredients that have been clinically tested to be effective such as Alpha Arbutin.
The bottom line is that like most things in modern society, you get what you pay for. While you do not need to spend hundreds of dollars on a single bottle of skin lightener, spending five or ten dollars is probably not the wisest bet either. One of the best skin lighteners, that is still affordably priced is Medliten available @ www.medliten.com. This is because Medliten is not only powerful, but it is also very safe and can be used on sensitive skin such as the underarm skin. Medliten is also serum based, which while more expensive, is also more efficient in that it can absorb quickly into the skin.
